I am a PhD student at the Université Grenoble Alpes, under the supervision of Denis Perrin and within a larger project with LSE. In my PhD, I bring together different questions regarding the phenomenology of episodic memory (the structural content, the underlying mechanisms, the function, etc.) to provide an explanation of the distinct features that episodic memory presents in humans in comparison to the memory exhibited by non-human animals. My approaches are varied, as I incorporate ideas from the analytic tradition, situated cognition, and Bergsonism. I am also interested in how processual and organic ontologies can address debates around minimal cognition or individuation.
