I'm an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Philosophy of Mind and Cognition at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. I'm also an Affiliated Member of the Centre for Philosophy of Memory at the Université Grenoble Alpes, where I was a Postdoctoral Researcher from 2019-2021. My research interests are in philosophy of mind, especially philosophy of memory. I have a particular interest in visual perspective in the imagery of episodic memory and future oriented mental time travel. I use the phenomenon of perspectival imagery as a lens through which to view deeper issues, such as the reconstructive nature of episodic memory, the relation between memory and personal identity, and the relation between mental time travel and self-control.
