Bio

I am a PhD student at the Université Grenoble Alpes, under the supervision of Denis Perrin, and under the supervision of Yasushi Hirai from Keio University. In the field of research on episodic memory, I am looking at the problem of its function. The question of the function of memory is less present in analytic philosophy than in Henri Bergson's philosophy; I wish to question this problem of memory under the prism of these two philosophical currents of thought that I want to discuss. I am also interested in the philosophy of science, a field that can help me understand the role attributed to memory by evolution.

I did my master's degree in philosophy of science at the University of Aix-Marseille, and worked on the function of forgetting, which led me to question the function of memory.
